(i) The particulars of its organization, functions & duties.

Organization

  Govt. Polytechnic, Kandhamal, Phulbani

Function

 It is a technical institute and gives diploma course in Civil Engg., Electrical Engg. & Mechanical Engg. Students can Join in the course after completion of HSC or equivalent with minimum 35% marks for 3 years Course & ITI/+2 Sc. Pass for 2 Years Course.

Duties

The  Institute is under the control of D.T.E & T, Odisha, Cuttack & affiliated to S.C.T.E & V.T, Odisha, Bhubaneswar. The syllabus is prescribed by the S.C.T.E & V.T, Odisha, for the Diploma course. Students have to attend minimum 75% attendance to appear the semester examination. Seminar and co-curricular activities are regularly conducted among the students for an all round development of future technicians.

(ii) The powers and duties of its officers and employees.

    The main duty of the faculty is to take theory and practical classes of the students. Semester examinations is conducted in every six months. So the course will be completed within a fixed period. Other co-curricular activities like sports, cultural and industrial study tour etc. have to be completed within this period. A lot of other activities like paper evaluation, verification of tools & equipments,  training & placement, industrial tour, conducting examination of the students are done by the faculties regularly throughout the year.

(iii)The procedure followed in the decision making process including channels of supervision and accountability.

    The Institute is under the control of Skill Development And Technical Education, Govt. Of Odisha & D.T.E & T, Odisha, Cuttack.It is affiliated to S.C.T.E & V.T, Odisha, Bhubaneswar. All the functions are discharged as per the norms/orders  of the higher authority.

(v) The rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions.

 The rules, regulations, instructions, manuals & records are followed as per the norms for discharging duties.

(vi) A statement of the categories of documents that are held it or under its control.

            There is no such provision for consultation with the public for formulation of policy or implementation.
